My dog, Max, a 6-year-old, suddenly lost motor function in his front legs within the last few minutes. He was acting like he couldn't fully stand, his stomach was gurgling, he looked in pain, and was shaking. He is now a little shaky but otherwise normal. What could have caused this and what should I do?

I have a 30-pound Wheaten Terrier named Loki who may have eaten half a box of caramel deLites (Girl Scout cookies). The entire box is 7oz. Is there a way to find out how much chocolate has been consumed? It was 3 hours ago, and the dog seems fine. I just want to make sure he will be ok! Has she thrown up since eating the cookies? What else should the Vet know about Loki?
