My dog, Murphy, has a broken hip after being hit by a car. He is on gabapentin, carprofen, and trazodone. He is still eating and drinking but has not gone to the bathroom since yesterday evening. He will stand on his leg but not walk. Is it OK for him to lay on that side, and what else should I be doing to care for him?

Hello. We are pet sitting and our kids accidentally dropped a multivitamin+probiotic and think she may have eaten it. We are just trying to see if it’s a serious issue or something to keep an eye on. The pet is a 6-year-old Maltese named Robin Ivy, who weighs about 6 lbs. She ate one gummy about a minute ago and has not vomited since then. The brand of the gummy is Olly.
