My dog, Murray, has seizures every 3 months. He is on medication for epilepsy, but the seizures continue despite doubling the medication 6 months ago. What else can I do to help reduce or stop them?

My 4-year-old Akita has arthritis in both back legs and his knees hyperextend forward, bending the wrong way when he walks. We can't afford the necessary surgeries. Are there any braces that could prevent his knees from bending the wrong way and help keep them in place? We've already given him anti-inflammatory medicine and food, but he gets sore easily from playing with our other puppy. Is there anything else we can do to help him?
