My dog Cooper, who is 17 pounds and 7 years old, ate a used tampon about 6 hours ago. He did not vomit since then. Normally, he shreds things before eating them, but this time he ate a full tampon. Should I take him to a vet immediately or monitor him for now?

My dog, Lucy, a French bulldog about to turn 2, has been shaking, very tired, and not wanting to move for 2 days. She doesn't react to being touched and doesn't appear to have any limb injuries. She's eating and drinking normally, with no vomiting or diarrhea. She had a very active weekend before this started. What could be causing this and what should I do?

Last night our 10.5 lbs chihuahua mix was agitated beyond imagination, as though she were on amphetamines. She turned around 5 or 6 times to get comfortable only to move to another spot within a minute. We had a pest spray company over the day before, but they state all their chemicals are EPA approved for pets. We always bring the dogs in when there is to be spraying and bring their dishes in as well. She’s doing fine today but I worry about what she could have gotten into. Have you tried anything so far that helps the Chihuahua with her agitation?
