My dog, Peanut, a 5 1/2-year-old large Chihuahua, has been lethargic since yesterday and hasn't pooped. He has been drinking water and eating kibble, and can move quickly if he wants to. His belly seems full but not hard. He has also shown a change in appetite and might have eaten something unusual, like a peanut. What could be causing this and what can I do to help?

My dog, Patches, is on Apoquel for allergies, but his symptoms have worsened today. I gave him an oatmeal bath, but it didn't help. Could I give him Benadryl as well?
