My dog, Pebbles, has tapeworms and I've treated her with a 7-way wormer. I'm concerned about her reinfecting herself and potentially infecting her 4-month-old brother. How often should I deworm her, and should I deworm both dogs? Is there a shot available for tapeworms, and would it be effective if she's already on heartworm prevention?
