My dog, Polly, a 12-year-old Bassett hound, is gagging, sneezing, and has had blood coming out of her nose. The bleeding started around 10 pm, stopped briefly, and then started again. She ate chicken soup but won't drink water. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Tobey, a 6-year-old, was fine all day but started becoming lethargic around 9pm and now can't stand. He ate normally and had normal stool. He might have eaten something unusual while outside. His gums are pink, eyes are normal, and pupils react to light. Is there anything else the vet should know before I connect with them?

My dog, Ollie, is panting heavily while standing or sitting. She is up-to-date on her shots, including rabies, and takes Simparica once a month. She is eating, drinking, and going up and down stairs normally, with no vomiting or diarrhea. What could be causing her panting, and what should I look for or do?

My puppy, Benny, a 20-pound dog, chewed on a pill bottle containing my depression/anxiety medication. He has not vomited yet, but his heart is beating faster than normal and he is very whiny. What should I do?

My dog, an Australian Shepherd weighing close to 50 lbs, ate half a piece of pecan pie about 30 minutes ago. He's been acting fine since then and wants to play. Should I be concerned, and is there anything else the vet should know before I connect with them?
