I have an 80 lb Golden Retriever named Buddy who was boarded for the last 2.5 days. He has sores between some toes which he is frantically licking. I gave him 25mg of Benedryl. I don’t have a collar to put on him and for tonight don’t have any antibiotics except Bacitracin. Is Bacitracin safe for dogs? Tomorrow the vet is closed, so he can’t get anything he might need until then unless I can get something at a store tomorrow. He is 16 months old and up to date on all shots, only has heartworm meds, and had an injection for allergies a month ago. Could this be the result of being anxious at the boarding place and just licking his feet over and over?
