My dog, Rocky, is experiencing diarrhea for about 2 days, possibly due to eating bones from the garbage. His rectum is irritated and red, and he seems to be in pain when he poops. He's been drinking water but barely eating. What can be done to help Rocky feel better?

I have a breeding establishment of 8 bitches and recently some of my puppies were found to have diarrhea when they moved to new owners. The cause has been identified as Giardia, which is difficult to eliminate. I was wondering if I could give the lactating bitches Panacur or some other medicine to reduce the effects of Giardia in the puppies, or if keeping the puppies until they are 3 months old would reduce the risk of illness compared to 8 weeks old. Is there any way to reduce the risk to the new buyers?
