His mother is a deer Chihuahua, and his father is a mixed Dachshund & Chihuahua. I noticed bits of blood in the diarrhea a couple of times. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog (a Shih Tzu, about 20 lbs) ate about 1-2 oz of raw wild salmon that was frozen and prepackaged. The salmon has been in my freezer for several months, but I cannot find the source country or the original freezing temperature. The dog has not vomited since eating the salmon, and his appetite remains strong. His second poop today was a little soft, but otherwise, he seems fine.
