My dog, a 6-year-old bull boxer weighing 65 pounds, has been lethargic and depressed since returning from a week-long stay at my parents' house where he played with other dogs. He was shaking lightly and crying, and now he seems to have a sore neck, keeping his head low and not lifting it much. He has no changes in appetite, no vomiting, and his gums are healthy pink. He is not limping or lame. What could be causing his symptoms, and should I take him to the vet?
