My dog, Roy, a 3-year-old weighing ~40lbs, may have ingested burdock or have some in his mouth/throat while trying to remove them from his paws. He was initially slightly gagging but has since been eating, drinking, and acting relatively normal. Is there any concern about further down the intestinal tract or small barbs causing infection in the oral mucosa?
