My dog's left ear is producing discharge with erythema from the flap down into the ear canal and at the base. It makes a 'squishing' sound when she scratches at it and has become very painful. We just noticed it within the last week but it may have been going on for a couple of weeks. Her last vet visit was 3 months ago, and she is not on any medications. Sis is a pit mix, about 9-12 months old, up to date on vaccinations, and has no known medical conditions. She prefers kibbles and bits, and her appetite has decreased moderately. The ear is extremely tender to touch, and she does not cooperate well when attempting to flush the ear.
