My dog's lower jaw is not working. He's able to eat and drink water mainly with his tongue, so I'm feeding him canned food. The vet believes there may be some nerve damage, and blood work didn't show much that is out of the ordinary. He seems like he's adapting, but what are some things that could have caused this? He doesn't seem to be able to move the lower jaw anymore. Could the jaw issue be age-related? Should I ask for an X-ray? My vet suggested a specialist.

My dog, Elsa, a miniature schnauzer, has been panting rapidly all day, her heart is racing and skipping beats (she has a heart murmur). She tries to get comfortable but only for a short time. Is there something I can give her to calm down the problem?

My 13-year-old female beagle, Tootie, has been declining due to a stroke. She vomited last night, cannot stand without assistance, refuses to eat or drink, and has not had bowel movements or urinated since then. My vet is out of town, and I couldn't get an appointment elsewhere. I have phenobarbital prescribed for seizures. Could I use this to euthanize her, and if so, how much?
