I have two purebred pit bull dogs in my sister's household. Both are females, one is ten years old (Callie) and the other is five years old (Cana). Callie was sick for two weeks but recovered five days ago, but as soon as she got better, Cana became sick. Cana is not eating, barely drinking, vomiting, and has bloody diarrhea. The last time both dogs were vaccinated was in January 2014. What could be causing Cana's symptoms and what should be done?

My dog, Mars, a Beagle mix, had diarrhea and vomited once. The vet prescribed medication and a rice chicken diet. There has been no more vomiting, but the stool remains soft, and the dog had another accident in the house. The vet then recommended Royal Canine gastrointestinal food, but I feel like they are just guessing. This is becoming expensive. Last year, the dog had a similar issue that another vet resolved in a few days. The dog eats deer poop from our backyard. What should I do?
