My 13-year-old miniature schnauzer, Tuck, has IBD and is successfully treated with a Royal Canin PV diet, 100 mg of metronidazole, and previously mesalamine. Potassium citrate was added to his diet two months ago to treat bladder stones, which has been successful so far. However, he has stopped eating for the past 2-3 days and has vomited orange bile twice in the last day. He has also become lethargic in the past several days. The local vet suggested an ultrasound of his liver. Have any blood tests been done that make liver disease suspicious?
