My Shih Tzu, Scrappy, who is 1 and a half years old, has been randomly whimpering loudly and circling before laying down, almost like he is in pain. He did not poop yesterday but has pooped three times today with solid, normal poop. He vomited once yesterday, all water. He is bright and alert, eating, and peeing okay, but he randomly starts whimpering loudly. What could be causing this behavior, and what should I do?

My dog Dex, who is 6 years old, has an itchy rash mostly on the inside of his legs and stomach. I recently changed his food but have since changed it back. The rash appeared about a week or two ago, and Dex has been licking and rubbing the affected areas. I also have another dog with a less severe rash on his foot. They both eat the same food.
