My dog, Sergio, is 17 years old and has been tilting his head and rubbing his face/head on the floor. He also occasionally scratches his head/ears. He had a check-up last weekend and everything was fine. What could be causing this behavior and what should I do?

Our puppy, Melo, vomited again this morning after no food overnight. The vomit is yellow and frothy. He was also vomiting yesterday afternoon and has vomited a total of four times.
