My dog, Shayna, who is 10 years old and weighs 12 pounds, has dental issues and appears to be in pain, not anxious to eat, although she will eat soft food. We have a vet appointment on 3/12, but is there a temporary pain solution I can use before then?

He also sat with his leg extended in an unusual way. Could this be a soft tissue injury from the activity, and should I monitor him for a few days or take him to the vet?
