My dog started whining about her back left leg and holding it up occasionally, without any obvious injury or swelling. She doesn't limp when she walks and doesn't guard the leg when touched, but she holds it up at times as if it hurts. She's also not as active as before. What could be causing this intermittent pain and what should I check or do?
