My dog Sydney, a 2-year-old German Shepherd, hasn't eaten her regular dog food since Saturday but will eat dog treats. She had diarrhea on Saturday but has been fine since then, acting normal and active. What could be causing her lack of appetite for regular food, and should I take her to the vet?

My dog, Asa, a 17-month-old, has been experiencing uncontrollable diarrhea for about 3 hours. She has not vomited and has no control over her bowel movements. There has been no change in her diet, but she might have eaten something unusual in the backyard. She was recently spayed and was on medication (Gabapentin, carprofen, and trazadone) until 2/8. She has never been dewormed and her gums are normal in color and somewhat moist. What could be causing her diarrhea and what should I do?
