My dog, Theo, a 7-year-old Yorkie weighing 11.5 pounds, has had three pancreatitis attacks. He experienced loose stools and vomiting, is panting, weak, and has a bloated stomach. The vomit is liquidy and foamy, with no food in it. Could he have eaten anything unusual, and what can be done to avoid future attacks? Is pancreatitis life-threatening, and is gabapentin recommended for pain?
