My 7-year-old Schipperke, Nicola, was spayed in early February. We got her in mid-March. Her stitches weep just a little several times a week. She had a 24-hour period of diarrhea, a warm nose, and low appetite but has since recovered fully. She is very active, eats well, drinks, and relieves herself normally.
