My dog took trazodone this morning over 15 hours ago. She seems very uncomfortable now, constantly swallowing and very tired. I assumed she would be sleepy after the medication, but for this long? And the constantly swallowing is starting to worry me a bit. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I look out for to determine if I need to call an emergency vet?
