My dog Tucker, a 1-year-old weighing 5.6kg, ate a piece of a dead bird and is now experiencing soft stools and increased flatulence. He is eating well but has had diarrhea once. Should I take him to the vet, and is there a risk of H5N1 transmission from the bird to Tucker or to people?

Our 70lb labrador, female, just ate 4 raw steaks, about a pound or more of meat. Will raw meat affect her and will she be able to pass it? Should we think about a pet emergency to pump her stomach or wait and monitor her?

My dog ate chocolate covered raisins. An unknown amount. This was maybe an hour ago or less. The dog is a 25-35 pound terrier mix, and it is estimated that at least 15 raisins were eaten. Has the dog thrown up since this happened? What should I do?

My 5-year-old 37 lb. female Cocker Spaniel is on phenobarbital 2.5 tabs every 12 hours, but she is having seizures again. The vet recommends adding potassium bromide. I am unsure about giving her two drugs and hope to get her off phenobarbital. Is there a safer alternative to phenobarbital for controlling seizures?
