My dog, Vinny, aged approximately 18, is very feeble, has cataracts, and has an extended belly. He does not eat much, and I am wondering if this is due to fluid buildup. Should I get a vet appointment immediately?

Our 10-year-old Chihuahua mix, Loki, who has Cushing's disease and is well-controlled on Vetoryl, accidentally ate a double dose of Trifexis meant for a 10.1 to 20-pound dog. The pills were in pill pockets. Our vet's office is closed. Should we seek emergency care or is there another course of action?

My 9-year-old 59lb golden doodle has had a UTI for three weeks. She initially had blood in her urine and was treated with Clavamox for 7 days, but it didn't resolve the issue. She no longer pees blood but has started peeing on herself and around the house. The vet found white and red blood cells in her urine and sent it for culture. She is now on enrofloxacin. Additionally, she has new black spots around her vulva and butt, which are flat and skin discoloration. Is this something to worry about? Could her food be contaminated? What should I do to help her get better sooner?

Our 12-year-old bichon, Charlie, was attacked by a raccoon and has multiple wounds on his ankle, leg, ear, tail, muzzle, and back hind. He is not up to date on his shots. What should we do until we can take him to a vet in the morning?

My dog, Jack, a 6-year-old chocolate lab, started limping on his right rear leg after chasing a ball this morning. He didn't yelp, and there doesn't appear to be any wound. Jack had hip and knee surgery on his left leg 3 years ago. What should I do?

My dog, Fonzie, a 1 1/2-year-old, just had a seizure. It lasted about 2-3 minutes, and he was thrashing, foaming at the mouth, and accidentally peed. He was panting afterward and drank quite a bit of water. This is the first time he's had a seizure, and he didn't get into any medicine or chemicals. What should I do, and what could be the cause?
