My dog vomited after eating, with undigested food and bloody-tinged mucus. She hasn't vomited in the last 24 hours, is eating a bland diet, drinking water, and peeing, but hasn't pooped since she went all day without eating. I gave her 1/2 tab of a 10mg Pepcid twice. Should I still take her to the vet, and how long should she stay on Pepcid?

My 138 lb 12-year-old German Shepherd has developed lumps and bumps over the years, including a hard round nodule on his rib cage. He has also been wheezing, snoring, and rattling when sleeping, which starts as soon as he puts his head down. I can't afford to take him to the vet due to financial constraints.
