My dog has been itching for approximately two months, almost continually. There are no signs of fleas or other bugs and he has been treated with Advantage every two weeks. There is no evidence of a rash. However, he does get lumps the size of my little finger and begs to be scratched. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, a Golden Retriever named Abby, is due any day now. Her temperature has dropped from 37.8°C to 37.1°C, she hasn't been eating much for the last few days, and she's been sleeping a lot. She has a white slimy discharge and is nesting, but not intensely. Is this normal behavior for a large breed during labor, and what should I do if she doesn't show signs of labor soon?

My almost 15-year-old, 65 lb female Samoyed has always had weakness in her rear left leg, diagnosed as psoriatic arthritis. She was prescribed Previcox, which she tolerated well but recently showed more weakness and slipping on non-carpeted floors. She was also given Tramadol for pain, but this seemed to worsen her weakness. Should I stop the Tramadol to see if her weakness improves, and what other treatments or medications could help manage her condition?
