My dog was seen by a vet earlier this week for severe vomiting. Full chem panel and CBC as well as abdominal X-ray were normal. Today she has urinated several times in our home, with pools followed by a lot of dribbling in between. She is panting and shaking heavily and cries when bumped a certain way or when attempting to pick her up. I'm concerned she may have a UTI, but not sure what classifies an emergency to contact a local vet.

The urgency of taking your dog to a vet depends on the level of discomfort she is experiencing. Sign...

I have a one-year-old black lab who has recently started to exhale heavily, almost like a "wheezing sound when congested", sneezes yellow phlegm-like stuff, and has been licking her lips and constantly opening and closing her mouth. Is this cause for concern?

Can my dog, Gerdie, a 6-year-old English Bulldog, take Cephalexin with Rimadyl for a urinary tract infection, and what are the potential side effects or interactions? Additionally, how soon should I expect the antibiotic to start working, and should I be concerned about her increased urgency to pee and vomiting?

My French bulldog, Olivier, is limping on his left leg. I've checked and there's no visible wound or abrasion. He's 5 years old, weighs about 30 lbs, and is not on any medications. He's been quieter than usual and his appetite has decreased. How bad is the limping and what should I do?
