My dog's eye is looking lazy and he is having a hard time opening it all the way. It looks like part of the eye is trying to protect it. This has been a concern for a couple of days. The dog is not taking any medications and last saw a vet last summer. His name is Caladin and he is about 5 years old. The issue started in his left eye and then went away, but now it is in his right eye. What could be causing this and what can I do to help?

He is acting normally except for scooting his bottom on the floor a couple of times. He has been slightly less thirsty than usual and has not eaten anything unusual. German Shepherd, Rafa, his dose of Simparica Trio (one tab with 72 mg sarolaner, 44 mg moxidectin, 300 mg pyrantel as pamoate salt) and the entire Ivermectin tab (272 mcg Ivermectin, 228 mg pyrantel pamoate salt, 228 mg praziquantel) intended for my 57 lb. dog. What should I do?
