I think our dog, Buzz Lightyear, might have lice, but I’m not sure what to look for and identifying bugs on his coat is difficult. He was in his outdoor pen and we noticed some smaller bugs on the ground near him. He was recently treated for fleas/ticks with preventative measures, but nothing for any health concerns. He is 2 years old and lives in New Jersey, where it has been very hot and muggy. We also live in a wooded area but our property is treated monthly for ticks, fleas, and other insects. Can you help identify if these bugs are lice and recommend any actions to take?
