My dogs went through the trash and got into an opened can of old dog food that had worms on it. I’m not sure if they ate it, but they do smell like it. Should I be concerned? Is there anything I can give them to protect them from getting sick or from the worms getting them sick?

Our 13-year-old Sheltie, Suki, has had diarrhea for two to three weeks and cannot keep even water down. She is also in pain, showing signs of drooling and leg quivering. She has been to the vet, had X-rays, and a complete blood panel, which showed no abnormalities. What else could be causing her symptoms?

My 6-month-old, 50-pound Golden Retriever named Ollie drank from a bucket containing about 1/8 cup of ammonia diluted in water. He showed no signs of mouth burns, ate an apple, and drank water right after. What should I do?

My dog, Tyson, a 10-year-old male Boxer, has kidney disease and is anemic. My vet is not comfortable treating him due to lack of knowledge about chronic kidney disease (CKD). I believe he needs medication like erythropoietin to stimulate red blood cell production. What can I do to help my dog, and what are the recommended treatments or supplements for his condition?

I have two dogs, Molly and Chase, who have been sneezing frequently for the past 2-3 days, with clear nasal discharge and yellow/green eye discharge in one dog. Both are up to date on vaccinations, and I gave them Benadryl for suspected allergies, but the symptoms continue. Should I take them to the emergency vet, or is this a 'wait and see' situation? Could this be allergies, a cold, flu, or infection?
