My Dutch Shepherd/Malinois named Goose, who is two years old, has a half-inch cut on his leg that is not bleeding but is open. He is alert and following my husband around. What should I do to treat this wound overnight until I can take him to the vet in the morning?

My dog ate a box of chocolate-covered cherries. The dog weighs 65 pounds and ate the cherries within the past 3 hours. The dog has not vomited and is acting normally. What should I do?

My dog, Opie, age 7, is squinting in one eye. I noticed this issue 2 days ago, and it appears to be intermittent. There are no known allergies. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have a 7-year-old house-trained pit bull named Poppy who has suddenly started peeing in the house. She has also been sleeping more than usual, not eating much on some days, and threw up about two days ago. What could be wrong with her?

I accidentally gave my 66-pound dog, Pearl, a Trifexis for dogs (44-60 pounds) instead of her usual Simparica Trio for dogs (44-80 pounds). Will the Trifexis provide adequate protection for her weight, or should I give her the Simparica in a couple of weeks? Additionally, I am concerned about overloading her system with different medications and giving her next dose of Simparica too early.

My 2.5-year-old Giant Schnauzer, Zoe, was due to give birth 2 days ago (day 63). She showed signs of stage 1 labor on day 63, but no actual labor progressed. On day 66, she is still not progressing to actual labor. She has frequent urination and a lot of clear mucus discharge, but her temperature is stable at 100 degrees. I am concerned about a possible green discharge seen on Sunday, which might indicate a sac broke inside and the pups possibly died. Is this normal, or should I be worried and consider taking her to an emergency vet?
