My eight-year-old Maltese had right stifle ACL surgery today. We brought him home around 6 PM tonight, but he has not urinated yet. He is very groggy and cannot stand on his untreated leg. We have tried to hold him for extended periods to see if he will urinate, but he has not passed urine. Is this normal or should we be concerned?

My pug, Chocolate Chip, ate some Starbucks vanilla syrup. The ingredients are sugar, water, natural flavorings, potassium sorbate E202, and citric acid E330. I don't know how much he ate, but he is whining and has not vomited. He ate his dinner and is taking Apoquel daily for a skin rash. What should I do?

My 10-year-old pug, Ozzie, has scales or scabs on his back, each side of the backbone. He has had an ear infection for life, is deaf from birth, and has retinal degeneration. His hair growth has decreased, and he drinks more water and pees more frequently. He has been on antibiotics and a shampoo, but the scabs have increased recently. What could be causing the scabs, and what further steps can be taken?
