I have an 8-year-old Silken Windhound who has been blinking repeatedly all day and has injected third eyelids. Can I use human eye wash such as Bausch and Lomb to irrigate his eyes until he can be seen by his vet? He had a hair in one eye two days ago but we thought we got it out.

My Frenchie has recently injured his disc and has a slight delay on his left leg. He is on steroids twice a day, pain medication 2-3 times per day, and 5 mg famotidine. I changed his diet from salmon and veggies to lean ground beef/liver and veggies. He needs to lose 3 pounds. He used to poo 2-3 times a day but now only once. What advice can you provide?
