My dog, Charlie, a five-year-old medium/small dog weighing 12-15 pounds, ate one or possibly two used tampons about 6 hours ago. He has had diarrhea with the tampon string visible, but no vomiting. What should we do?

My dog ate aluminum foil. Any cause for concern? The dog is a large Bernedoodle, weighing 70 pounds, and ate a 5” square piece of aluminum foil with fries on it about ten minutes ago. She has not vomited and seems fine.
