I have 2 spayed pugs. One of them becomes very aggressive toward the other and possessive of me for 3-5 days out of the month, but they get along great the rest of the time. Why is this happening, and is there a way to reduce the fighting during these days without separating the dogs?

He was able to jump into the car an hour ago when I tried to take him to the emergency vet, which was closed. Hello! My 11-month-old Toller got spayed three days ago. We are trying to keep her calm and inactive, and she gets a sedative twice a day. There seems to be a little bump near her incision. Is this normal, and should I be concerned?
