My German Shepherd mix, Feeny, has been exhibiting symptoms of a urinary tract infection since last night. He keeps asking to go out and was able to pee once, but then he kept stopping to go and nothing came out. He is neutered, last saw a vet about a year ago for his shots, and was taking Trifexis but stopped about 4 months ago. He also received a topical flea treatment in the last 2 months. What could be causing this issue and what should I do?

How long can a healthy dog go without eating a meal? My picky dog is being stubborn about his kibble, and he and I are currently waiting to see who "breaks" first. He didn't eat at all yesterday, and hasn't eaten at all today either. (This isn't the first time we've had a battle of wills over food, but I've never actually gotten a straight answer from a professional about how long it's safe to wait out his hunger.)

My dog, Britta, a 4-year-old weighing 68 pounds, chewed on a medium-sized stick the size of a pinky finger and ingested it. She threw it up but ate it again later.
