My dog ate 75% of a block of mouse poison. How much of the mouse poison did the dog eat? Any vomiting yet? Is there anything else the Vet should know before I connect you? How long ago did the dog eat the poison? How big is the dog? Do you know what type of mouse poison this was? Do you have any 3% hydrogen peroxide on hand that is not expired? How do I know which one it is? I don't have peroxide. I have salt. I'm sorry I don't know how to tell if it's the kind I need.

My 1-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, River, had a laceration last week that was stapled by our vet. Some staples came out, and the vet removed the remaining staples except for two, leaving an open wound to heal on its own. Is this common, and what can be done to help the wound heal properly given River's hyperactive nature and the presence of other dogs?
