My dog, Macy, had ACL surgery about 6 months ago. She is overweight but I manage her exercise and food control. She was doing great but sprinted when she saw another dog and now is limping and not putting any pressure on her repaired knee. Could she have just tweaked a muscle she hasn't used in a long time?

My Lagotto, Baxter, has a severe case of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The Vet has been treating it with Amikacin every two weeks for about 6 weeks, but the smell and scratching return each time. I've read that he might need a combination of topical and oral meds, possibly polymyxin B topical with marbofloxacin oral. Additionally, I've read that the ear infection could be the result of an allergy. Should I see a Vet dermatologist? The Vet also mentioned possible treatment with Imipenem, but I have read that such treatment may not be advisable. What should I do?
