My dog keeps biting his butt/tail, seems uncomfortable, and is very clingy. He also asks to go out to pee every hour, but won't pee in his crate. He just turned 1 year old and has been like this since he was 8 weeks old. What could be causing these issues and what should I do?

I have a four-year-old Bichon who is possibly having a delayed reaction to his rabies shot. He threw up, stopped eating, and had black tarry stools. He was given anti-nausea meds, Metronidazole, and sub-q fluids. Blood work and GI x-rays were normal. He had a good meal on Saturday but hasn't eaten since, and continues to have droplets of stool. He was given IV fluids, two antibiotics, and a GI track coater. He had a similar reaction three years ago after the rabies vaccine. He is home now but won't eat, just sleeps. I want to give him probiotics but can't get anything into his mouth. Should I continue with the antibiotics, and how can I get him to eat?
