My Great Dane has a large skin tag on his front right knee that is now oozing, bleeding, has ulcers, and he is constantly licking it. The stalk is becoming thin as the mass grows heavier. The vet quoted $400 for surgical removal, which I cannot afford. Is there a way to remove it at home, like tying thread tightly around the base, or are there other options such as care credit or relinquishing him to a rescue with veterinary services?

My 4-year-old Havanese female has had runny, dark brown stool for about a week, was lethargic for two days but rallied with a good appetite and normal behavior, changed her diet to rice and ground beef, but now she is vomiting bile and undigested rice, and has blood in her stool. My 2 miniature Dachshunds may have eaten a very small amount of rat poison called chlorophacinone. One weighs 20 lbs and the other approximately 12 lbs, both are middle-aged. I gave them a bowl of milk to counteract the poison. Will they be okay?

My dog ate a box of chocolates and has vomited about 15 times. He is drinking a lot of water. We are watching him closely. I am sure the fact that he is purging it from his system and keeping well hydrated is the right thing. We don't live close to any 24-hour emergency vets but ironically he has a vet appointment tomorrow morning. What should I do?
