My Bassett puppy, 9 months old, started vomiting on Saturday and has been vomiting ever since. She has bursts of energy but then becomes lethargic and lays around. She drank from a 'pee here' stake with an attractant on Friday, and I am unsure of its ingredients. She weighs 33 lbs, has a slender build, visible ribs, a bad smell, and drooping eyes. What could be causing her symptoms and what should I do?

My Bichon has diabetes and was well established on Vesulin 5mcg every 12 hours. Last night, she began to have sinus issues and went into a vomiting episode. She is 10 years old and has not vomited in 6 hours. She has taken small amounts of cooked oatmeal and is drinking water. I just gave her some sugar water as she is dopey now. How will the lack of insulin affect her if she does not get a shot for 24 to 32 hours?

I have noticed dark spots that are smooth on my blue merle border collie, Merlot, aged 1, on his belly and his penis has turned half dark. The whites of his eyes seem red sometimes, which we have attributed to tiredness. He licks his paws and possibly his abdomen, especially at night. Does he have exposure to the outdoors and sunlight, where he might lay in the grass with his abdomen exposed?

I babysit for two young kids who just got a puppy with roundworms. The puppy has received one dose of dewormer and is crated. I pet her before knowing about the roundworms and washed my hands afterward. Am I likely to get roundworms? What about the kids' laundry and hygiene?
