My husband dropped a bottle of ibuprofen on the ground, and my 55 lb Golden Retriever grabbed one. I managed to get the pill out of her mouth before she ingested it, but she licked the coating off. Will she be okay or do I need to call the vet?

My dog Cairo, a 4-year-old American Bulldog, has been scratching uncontrollably for a long time. He has been to the vet multiple times, tried different medications, changed his food, and used various home remedies and shampoos, but nothing has stopped the scratching. What else can I do to help him?

My German Shepherd cross has eaten mouse poison (Ratsak blocks) about an hour ago. I don't know the active ingredient, and he weighs 33 kilos. He has eaten at least one block, possibly two, which are about an inch square by half an inch. We don't have hydrogen peroxide, and we live far from a vet's office. What should I do?

My toy poodle, Molee, age 16 1/2 years, has matted eyes, with the left eye being redder than the right. Both eyes are pinkish. She has been crying and has vomited twice. Can I use Equate brand eye drops for dry eyes on her?

I just got a 9-10 year old dog from a family member. Her nails are very long and click on the floor, making her walk slowly. I'm concerned about cutting them because I've read about the quick being too long. What's the best way to safely trim her nails, and is it possible to sedate her for this?
