My Japanese Chin, weighing 15 lbs, can't breathe through her nose at all and is mouth breathing, affecting her sleep. She has been treated with antibiotics and steroids by the vet, but symptoms return within a week of finishing the prescriptions. What can I do to help her breathe better, and is there a more permanent solution like a stent for her nasal passages?
