My labrador, who is 3.5 years old, has just completed heartworm treatment on Monday and Tuesday. She seems to be doing well, but I want to know when it would be best for me to take more time off during her 6-week rehabilitation period to be with her during the shedding of the worms. I also want to know what signs to look out for if something is going wrong with her, as my vet did not provide any information about this.

I have a 4-year-old maltipoo dog with indoor allergies. Her eyes produce a lot of mucus that sometimes seals them shut, and she scratches all night even with Benedryl. A friend suggested using Claritin, which helped her dog. My dog weighs 11 pounds. What would be the correct amount of indoor/outdoor Claritin for her to take?

A nine-year-old female white German Shepherd is throwing up white, slimy foam, restless, seeking cool areas like the pool to lay down, under stress, and whines when starting to throw up. I am skeptical about giving my credit card number online.

My Dalmatian has not urinated all day and has had some green liquid come out. He seems to be trying but nothing is happening, and I can't get him to a vet until tomorrow night at the earliest. Should I be worried?

My dog keeps getting ticks. One spot where a tick was removed is now leaking fluid. Is this something to worry about and can it be really bad? What should I do?
