My dog, DJ, a 9-year-old Border Collie, had ACL surgery about 7 weeks ago using the 'fish line method.' He has since had laser therapy, but his knee is swollen again. He is on Tramadol for pain when needed, Rimadyl daily since surgery, and Xanax for anxiety. What could be causing the swelling, and is there anything else the veterinarian should be aware of?
