My miniature dachshund, Mazy, is eight years old and showing signs of lethargy, pain in the rear end (unsure if it's the back or stomach), and a swollen neck in the chest area. She seems to be in pain when walking, but there's no vomiting or diarrhea. She was better yesterday but now just wants to lay in her bed. What could be causing these symptoms and how can I keep her comfortable until her vet appointment tomorrow?

If my dog has multiple mast cell tumors (MCT) that have been surgically removed but are recurring within less than a week, what is the life expectancy?
