Our dog, Theo, a 17-week-old 16-pound puppy, just swallowed a 4-inch beef tendon about 30 minutes ago. He is currently playing with toys but gagging every few minutes. He has not vomited and has only drank water. Should we be worried, and what should we do next?

Hi Pearl, I came home and suspect our dog chewed on Vitamin D. About 10-20 pills of 5000 units/1200 calcium. I found brown liquid vomit on the floor after. I also think they ate a hard boiled egg as I found some eggshells on the floor but not much else. The dog is 16 lbs. How long has it been since the dog chewed the pills? What's the dog's name and age? Is there anything else the Vet should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
