My nine-year-old poodle maltese mix, Rosie, has bloody diarrhea. She ingested a few drops of my fecal material on Wednesday, and I was diagnosed with diverticulitis on Friday. Rosie weighs about 8 pounds and has vomited once since then. She was agitated when I picked her up from the kennel today and keeps trying to defecate. She is eating and drinking normally but has watery diarrhea in small amounts. What could be causing this and what should I do?

Our newly adopted dog is trying to assert dominance among the other dogs, barking back when told off, and constantly peeing on beds. She is the most energetic and active of the three female dogs and has become the most annoying. What advice can you give to stop these habits? Could it be lack of stimulation from us as humans, like taking her for walks?
